Planning for a rainy day

Finally!  We have puddles in Fresno!  It’s raining today.  Hopefully this will be the first of many such rainy days in our future as we obviously need the rain!  It’s funny that a phrase we often use in financial planning is to “save for a rainy day”.  Here in the Central Valley we WANT those rainy days.  But one should always plan for financial emergencies. We’re nearing the end of the year and it’s time to stop a moment and see if there is anything you need to do to ensure you are set for the year end.
